Abstract

The article considers the distinctive features of enigmatic discourse, its functional specificity and interactive orientation. The possibility of using poetic and prose riddles, charades, metagrams, logogryphs in the classroom in Russian as a foreign language to enhance the cognitive activity of students is substantiated. The phenomenon of the language game, implemented in the enigmatic discourse, will give the learning process an innovative character, will diversify the system of tasks and exercises.
