Abstract
The results of studies on teaching preschool children attending kindergarten the basics of fire safety in everyday life are presented. The requirements for the qualifications of a teacher-educator for high-quality classes with children on combustion, the danger of uncontrolled combustion – fire and compliance with fire safety requirements are presented. The methodological features of teaching children of different groups the basics of fire prevention and independent evacuation in the event of a fire are shown.
