Abstract

The accession of Kazakhstan in 2010 to the membership of the Bologna Club was the most important factor contributing to the integration of the national higher education system into the European higher education area. Kazakhstan’s participation in the Bologna process is seen as a catalyst for the modernization and reform of Kazakhstan’s education, increasing its export potential. In general, interaction with European universities within the framework of a single educational space contributed to the realization of the potential of scientific and educational development of Kazakhstan. The article considers Kazakhstan’s experience in implementing the parameters of the Bologna system. In addition, the paper presents a comprehensive analysis of the degree of implementation and promotion of the reforms of the Bologna process in the Kazakh system of higher education. Attention is paid to the results and achievements of Kazakhstan in the Bologna process, a country that is the only state in Central Asia that signed the Bologna Declaration and has a national strategy for the internationalization of all universities of the republic.
