Abstract

The article analyzes the priority projects of the Russian Federation in the field of science and education, shows their structure, identifies the tasks of projects in the field of innovative development of universities. Based on the comparison of the goals of the national projects Education and Science, a conclusion was formulated about the direct dependence of the competitiveness of both educational organizations and economic entities interacting with it, and the global competitiveness of Russian education on the intensification of the manifestation of innovative activity of universities. The dynamics of the ranking positions of the leading Russian universities is presented. The planned indicators of the priority project Universities as centers of innovation creation space have been investigated. Based on the comparison of the actual results with the planned ones, it was concluded that priority projects are effective tools for managing the development of innovative activity of educational organizations.
