Abstract

This article reflects the theoretical aspects of the management of knowledge-intensive production. The purpose of the article is to study and analyze the theoretical and methodological foundations of managing science-intensive production (knowledge-intensive industries). A theoretical analysis of the concept of "high-tech production" is carried out, the characteristic features of high-tech production are revealed from the standpoint of various researchers. It is shown how to quantify the level of knowledge intensity. The level of knowledge intensity of the national economy is calculated on the example of the Russian Federation. Examples of the largest enterprises in high-tech and science-intensive industries are considered, as well as the main problems in the system of science-intensive production are identified.
