Abstract

In the Russian Federation, since 2019, at the initiative of the Government of the Russian Federation, large-scale measures are being implemented within the framework of the National Demography Project to modernize the state employment service. The paper substantiates the need to study the foreign experience of the functioning of similar bodies and its adaptation to Russian conditions. The paper presents the approaches used in the practice of public employment services in some countries of the European Union. The examples of Belgium, Romania, France and Greece show the possibilities of expanding the categories of citizens served and ensuring the inclusiveness of the labor market.
