Abstract

Technological progress has always influenced the development of cities. Nowadays, unmanned vehicles are replacing traditional cars, which may lead to changes in the urban environment. Today, the key trends are: automation, sharing, electrification, connectivity and transport vir-tualization. Their convergence can lead to systemic changes. But it is too early to talk about a com-plete replacement of personal cars. Urban planning must be guided by sustainable development goals, ensuring accessible, safe and environmentally friendly transport for all. At the same time, the introduction of drones can lead to both positive and negative effects. The task of designers is to maximize the former and minimize the latter. This requires clear guidelines and a flexible approach that takes into account the systemic relationship between urban form and traffic flows.
