Abstract

The work is devoted to the methods of disposal of drilling waste at the field located in the Far North, where the disposal and processing of such waste is difficult. Such wastes pose the greatest danger to natural environment objects, since they contain a large amount of hydrocarbons that pollute the environment during accumulation and storage directly on the territory of the drilling rig. The use of recycling methods is able to obtain valuable components and secondary material resources directly at the drilling rig. The paper proposes pitless drilling, which allows maximum extraction of the solid phase with minimal loss of the liquid phase. This goal is achieved by returning to the system the maximum possible volume of the liquid phase and collecting dry sludge (ground uncontaminated). With the proposed method, sludge pits for drilling waste are not built, which reduces the burden on the environment.
