Abstract
Substantiates the expediency of using the MS Excel spreadsheet processor and the Mathcad mathematical package to solve research problems. The theoretical foundations of the statistical testing method are presented. The applied aspects of the application of the statistical test method are considered. 
 The ways of improving the teaching of mathematical cycle disciplines in the conditions of digitalization 
 of education are determined.
