Abstract

The article is devoted to the study of the possibilities of strengthening the competitiveness of Ukrainian IT enterprises in the conditions of the war and the post-war period. The state of development of IT enterprises in Ukraine and their impact on the economy is considered. The volume of export of IT services was analyzed. The problems faced by IT enterprises during the full-scale russian invasion of Ukrainian territories are clarified. The main competitive advantages of IT enterprises of Ukraine in the world market of information technologies are the relatively low cost of labour in the IT sector, high-quality education, growth of employees’ potential, responsibility and creativity of personnel. Areas of strengthening the competitiveness of IT enterprises have been determined, including: improvement of product and service quality, improvement of business processes, improvement of staff qualifications, development of partnership and cooperation, attraction of investments, use of modern technologies and innovations. The importance of the development of IT innovations in the field of security, in particular cybersecurity, data protection, products for military and environmental security, is substantiated. The concept of safe innovative development of Ukrainian IT enterprises will serve to strengthen their competitiveness and demand on a global scale. It is necessary to develop IT products that are interesting and in demand on the international market. This will contribute to the attraction of foreign capital, deepen international, in particular European cooperation, and speed up the European integration processes of Ukraine. It is proposed to strengthen the competitiveness of IT enterprises by solving humanization issues. The IT sphere should become one of the leading industries that will provide the basis for the economic recovery of Ukraine in the post-war period. It is important to deepen the potential of the IT industry through the development of education and science, the formation of a favourable investment climate, and the creation of conditions for the re-emigration of IT specialists and young people.
