Abstract
The article is based on the thesis of the report delivered at the opening of the international scientific Internet conference "Ukraine's migration policy in the context of globalization: management experience and current risks", which took place at Uzhhorod National University on March 24 - April 15 this year. according to the List of scientific conferences formed by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine for 2020. The conference was organized by the NN Institute of European Integration Studies, the Research Institute of Migration and Demography of the Faculty of Economics and the Faculty of History and International Relations of Uzhhorod National University.The article presents a preliminary sociological and political analysis of the migration situation in Ukraine, including in crisis conditions. An assessment of the regulatory framework for migration management in Ukraine is given. The influence of systemic and situational forms of migration management on the stability and development of society, the need for new approaches to improve the existing strategy of state migration policy of Ukraine and its implementation are substantiated. Steps for further research on this topic, proposals that can complement the existing system and propose a new concept of state migration policy, which will complement the Migration Policy Strategy of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and a specific action plan to it.

У статті здійснено попередній соціолого-політологічний аналіз міграційної ситуації в Україні, в тому числі у кризових умовах. Прикладом такого нового осмислення є науковий підхід до вивчення проблеми міграції та міграційної політики в Україні, зокрема у науковців Національного інституту стратегічних досліджень (НІСД), а виданий ними збірник тез і матеріалів, підготовлений до науково-практичної конференції «Проблеми реалізації державної міграційної політики України» став помітним явищем [1].
