Abstract

The article presents a methodological approach to conducting a factor analysis of the innova-tive potential of an industrial enterprise. The author's concept of “innovative potential” has been clarified as the difference between the “innovative capacity” and the “innovative program” of the enterprise. An orga-nized classification has been presented for the methods of assessing the capacity of the innovative products market based on which a conclusion has been made on the applicability of the “top-down” method to as-sessing the market capacity and VRIN results of enterprise activity in a research study. The original classification has been presented for the VRIN indicators of a high-technology enter-prise resources, which allowed to reveal the parameters of these resources influencing the level of the enterprise competitiveness. The relevance and eligibility of introducing the terms of VRIN result and VRIN efficiency to a research study has been explained. The article presents the methods of qualitative (expert) and quantitative assessment of VRIN re-sources, VRIN results and VRIN efficiency of the activity of an industrial enterprise, which allow to re-veal the necessity of performing a factor analysis of the enterprise's innovative potential. The results of testing the qualitative (expert) methods of assessment of VRIN efficiency have been presented on the example of OOO PK “UralResurs” and OOO “Ural and Siberia Mechnical Engineering Plant” companies. The relevance of an in-depth qualitative analysis of VRIN efficiency has been ex-plained for OOO “Ural and Siberia Mechnical Engineering Plant”.
