Abstract
The article is devoted to the analysis of the problems of interaction and the relationship between law and politics. Examining the peculiarities of the interaction of politics and law, it is stated that these most important phenomena cannot act in absolute isolation, but at the same time, each of them functions with the help of specific tools for it. Special attention in the course of the study was paid to a number of similarities and differences between politics and law, the analysis of which showed that the activity of both the law and politics is aimed at ensuring the functionality of the state.
