Abstract
Systematic development of independence of students in primary school with the introduction of an updated standard of primary education is a mandatory requirement for all teachers. At the same time, this process seems obviously difficult for many of them due to the age characteristics of younger schoolchildren, stereotypes in the construction of educational classes and the organization of extracurricular activities, and habitual strategies for interacting with children. The article provides an example of the practical implementation of this regulatory requirement by a primary school teacher - the winner of the regional stage and the finalist of the final stage of the “Russian Teacher of the Year” competition. Analysis of a lesson conducted by a teacher in an unfamiliar class allows us to state the most common approaches to ensuring effective independent work of elementary schoolchildren.
