Abstract
The authors of the article examine the phenomenon of word and image close unity in the Russian culture. The first author’s books of Russian artists were issued in the end of the XIX century. The authors of the article consider this and other outstanding events of the author’s book history to have become an independent art phenomenon which may be called “artist-writer”. Among others, the said art phenomenon is closely related to artist-illustrator creative work psychology. Thus, an artist creates as he was a joint author specifying and developing writer’s logic. Hence, there appear “illustrations ad hoc”. The authors of the article consider it to be probably the first steps to one’s proper literary author’s book. The authors claim the artists of the Russian emigration first wave to have considered word and image interaction to be natural atmosphere of their creative work. It is analyzed in the article creative work of A. M. Remizov, Yu. P. Annenkov, S.I. Sharshun, M.F. Andreenko-Nechitajlo, L. Zak, S.L. Gollerbax and D. A. Solozhev. The author claim everything specifying the Silver Age art and literature peculiarities abolished in Soviet Russia to have come to full flower in Pairs in 1920-1930s which is not accidentally considered to be the capital of the Russian emigration at that time. The authors of the article consider the Russian culture Silver Age to have lasted till the Nazi troops invaded Paris in 1940. Having returned to new Russia after a number of years passed, books of Russian emigration first wave authors contributed to spiritual and moral rebirth of the Russian world.
