Abstract
The article examines pseudo-international words typical of applicants’ resumes. The authors analyze lexical units describing working procedure, the names of company departments, the sections of the resume, applicants’ qualities. The paper presents typical mistakes when translating most frequent terms. Some reasons for the appearance of incorrect interpretations and repetitions of misuse of the English phrases in the creation of texts in Russian are analyzed.
