Abstract

The article discusses the reception of the literary image of Fyodor Dolokhov in screen versions of L. N. Tolstoy’s novel “War and Peace”; it highlights the main features of the representation of this image in the movie. The material for the study was six publicly available domestic and foreign film adaptations of Tolstoy’s novel released in 1956, 1965, 1972, 2009, 2012, 2015.
