First, while all three empowerment factors (self-determination & impact, Job meaning, and job competency) have significant effects on operation satisfaction factor and satisfaction with company, but all factors of empowerment do not have any significant effect on the performance satisfaction factor of job satisfaction. Second, all factors of empowerment have a significant effect on the turnover intention, indicating that empowerment can be an effective tool for reducing employee turnover. Third, operation satisfaction factor has significant effect on the turnover intention but satisfaction with company factor and performance satisfaction factor do not have significant effect on the turnover intention. From the results, some practical implications for strategic human resource management of the cabin crew are also presented.
