Abstract
The results of a study on the formation of the image of an associate are presented on the example of students at the Saint-Petersburg university of State fire service of EMERCOM of Russia. Surveys of adjuncts were conducted, and external factors that directly affect the formation of status positions and the formation of the image of students were analyzed. In the methodological component of the presented material, based on the main provisions of the theory of modernization of education in law enforcement agencies, the results of this study are summarized, a comparative characteristic of the factors and conditions ensuring the formation of a positive image of an associate is given. The authors' conclusion demonstrates the ability and willingness of all subjects of activity related to the training of highly qualified personnel to effectively solve the task of improving the personal and social status of an associate, forming the image of a young scientist, and, consequently, modern science as a whole.
