It was found that the subjects of two subsamples in difficult life situations, including those related to educational activities, prefer coping behavioral strategies of a constructive nature. Coping behavior of students, in comparison with that of high school students, is characterized by a greater focus on confrontational coping, escape-avoidance, acceptance of responsibility. In general, the severity of implemented coping strategies is higher among students compared to high school students. The empirical data obtained can be used by teachers working with high school students and students in order to implement targeted support for students in difficult situations of educational reality.
