Abstract

The article evaluates the level of strategic management in the content of current strategies for social and economic development of the Ural and Central Federal Districts of the Russian Federation. The study revealed that the provision of the national digitalization program is not fully reflected in regional strategic management documents. According to the authors, the revealed disproportion is one of the reasons for the weak correlation between the level of digitalization of regions and their socio-economic development. The result of the study is a quantitative and qualitative evaluation of the provisions of the national digitalization program in the regional strategic documents. Based on this evaluation, recommendations were developed for reflecting the leading aspects of digital transformation in the core regional strategic document. The research process used methods of content analysis of texts of regional strategies, ratings and comparative analysis. This article will be of interest to regional executive authorities, the scientific community, teachers and students of higher educational institutions.
