Abstract

Ensuring the safety of all road users remains the «agenda» for many countries around the world. In this regard, quantitative research is of crucial importance as a basis for decision-making in the context of formed hypotheses regarding road safety. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the speed of the flow of vehicles significantly affects the process of track formation as a factor that increases the likelihood of a traffic accident, as well as the presence of critical elements such as «track», «evenness» and «high speed» in the context of the risk of an accident, create synergy, the effect of which is much more powerful than the sum of the effects caused by the same factors separately.
