Abstract
The state provides high level of scientific development with modern technologies, innovations and new knowledge that can be applied in various fields of the economy. In addition, a digital breakthrough based on scientific research can also contribute to the development of information technology and digital economy. Such achievements can lead to creation of new high-tech companies, increase in digital products and services export, as well as increase in the living standard of the population. Realizing the importance of science and scientific activity the state should create conditions for the development of its scientists. This should include provision of financial support for researches, creation of specialized research centers and laboratories, as well as scientific and higher education development and international cooperation. Thus, high development level of o science and scientific activity is a key factor for achieving a leading position of the state in the world system. This makes it possible to ensure competitiveness in the international arena and guarantee digital breakthrough in various sectors of the economy.
