Abstract

Modernization of the regional economy as a phenomenon is a complex process of progressive economic, environmental, political, and social changes that occur in the context of the fourth industrial revolution, their goal is the transition to a highly developed, sustainable society with a high level of quality of life. Human capital, its growth and a radically new role are also associated with the processes of modernization of society. The doctrine that underlies modernization indicates that this process is directly due to the accumulated human capital. The integration and development of technologies, which are a necessary component of modernization shifts, require the transformation of knowledge and new competencies of the employee. The Agenda of the future emphasizes the importance of human interaction in the postmodern economy through functions in the field of marketing and sales, creating and filling information content, working with different types of personalities and with different skill levels. The consequence of modernization changes is the formation of a new quality of human capital.
