Abstract

In the body of laying hens by the third phase of egg laying (450 days or more), a number of changes cause a decrease in the intensity of egg production and the strength of the eggshell. It has been established that the use of the spore probiotic “Basulifor” in the diet of the “Hysex Brown” laying hens from the beginning of the III phase feeding programm allows to reduce by 2,53 times the proportion of eggs with the poor strength of eggshells (strength less than 26 N) and to maintain high egg production of chickens at a later age(Рt0,999).
