Abstract
The article is dedicated to the anniversary of professor Stroganov M. V., Doctor of Philology (b. 1952). It contains a brief review of his main works tending to four areas of development: 1) anthropology; 2) local history and cultural studies addressed to the issue of local text and artistic space; 3) textual criticism; 4) vocabulary and reference.
