Abstract

The article presents the results of the use of immunological and instrumental diagnostic methods, as well as surgical treatment in 92 patients with recurrent liver echinococcosis. Postop-erative complications were detected in 15 (16.1%) patients, postoperative lethality was observed in 1 (1.07%) cases. As a result of the analysis of the study of immunological tests, it was shown that immunochemiluminescence (ICL) and enzyme immunoassay (ELISA) is a highly informa-tive test for the diagnosis of recurrent echinococcosis. The effectiveness of surgical treatment of recurrent echinococcosis is directly dependent on the choice of access, indications for various methods of operations, methods of disinfection and complete elimination of the residual cavity of the fibrous capsule
