Abstract

The article considers the pedagogical significance of museums, their influence on the level of education and culture of the population, the possibility of translating the past into the present through individual and public awareness, allowing through sensory perception to preserve the historical memory and intercultural communication. Possibilities offormation of harmonious interethnic relations, civic-patriotic qualities of youth, their holistic world outlook by means of museum pedagogy are studied. Attention is paid to the necessity of searching for new museum practices, allowing to create favorable conditions for educational activity.
