Abstract

NNowadays, maintaining air quality, especially during industrial activities, is a pressing issue. Instability in the composition of industrial waste can lead to serious consequences for human health and the environment. This topic is studied in various fields of science and engineering, for example, environmental, physical and mechanical, etc. The air condition around industrial facilities can be improved in several ways, including by improving the air purification system. Air quality control must meet sanitary and hygienic requirements and ensure high economic feasibility. Return air cyclones are considered the most popular means of air purification. These designs have been known for a very long time, but there is a constant need to further improve their design. Due to the extreme complexity of the processes occurring in complex multicomponent swirling flows, it has not yet been possible to develop a generally accepted and widely used model of the process of separation of dust particles in the cylindrical part of the cyclone. The proposed mathematical model is capable of taking into account the turbulent mode of movement of the dust-air flow to represent the deposition of particles in the cylindrical part of the cyclone, a rotating flow.
