Abstract

The article touches upon the problem of self-directed learning of the teacher of additional education. The results of the questionnaire of teachers of additional education institutions regarding the importance of self-directed learning for their personal and professional growth, their perception of key concepts of self-directed learning, preferences in terms of forms of self-directed learning are analyzed. Conclusions are drawn regarding the need for organizational and methodological support for self-directed learning.
