Abstract
The article is devoted to the study of conflicts of interest in the state and municipal service. The article considers problematic issues regarding the essence, object, subject and subjects of conflict of interest in the state and municipal service. A conflict of interest is a situation in which the influence of the personal interest of one person can influence the decision of another person, thereby damaging the interests of society. The problem of conflict of interest in the state and municipal services is quite relevant today. This is due to the fact that in modern Russia the problem of corruption is one of the most pressing and as a form of corruption is a conflict of interest in the state and municipal services. Since conflicts of interest in the civil service make the effective development of the state as a whole difficult.
