Abstract

The relevance of the study is to analyze andevaluate the competitive activities of handballplayers at different stages of the World Cup inEgypt in 2021. The received informationpromotes effective development of handball atthe national level, increase of indicators ofcompetitive activity of handball clubs. Thepurpose of the work – to determine andevaluate the game activity of handball playersin the competitive activities of national teamsat the 2021 World Handball Championship.Material and research methods. 102matches at different stages of the competitionof 32 men's national teams, which won thehighest awards of the World HandballChampionship 2021 in Egypt, were analyzed.The information was used to analyze the teamperformance indicators of handball players tocompare and analyze their relationship withteam rankings. Theoretical analysis andgeneralization of scientific andmethodological literature and technicalprotocols on the Internet; method of systemanalysis; chronological method, method ofmathematical statistics. Research results. Thearticle highlights the components of thecompetitive activities of the men's nationalteams of the World Handball Championship.The analysis of indicators of game activity ofhandball players in attack in 10 min timeranges of the match is given: the effectivegame of 10 min time time of the match ingeneral, and also teams-winners and losers,effective game of teams in these time ranges isnoted. Conclusions. During the game, thewinning team scores the most goals in the first, third and sixth 10 minutes of the match.Performance in these time ranges significantlyaffect the final result of the game.
