Abstract

A study of the toxicity of bottom sediments of the highly eutrophic lake Nero was conducted. The most polluted areas of the lake are confined to its Northern part, which is affected by domestic and industrial runoff from Rostov, as well as surface runoff from agricultural land and major highways. The analysis of the relationship between the toxicity parameters and the chemical composition parameters was carried out.
