Abstract
The article examines the process of digitalization of the legal profession in modern society. The authors highlight the main innovations in the activities of the legal profession as a result of the introduction of electronic technologies. The authors consider and analyze both the positive and negative sides of the digitalization of the bar, the system of the Integrated Information System of the Bar of Russia (hereinafter — CIS AR), the features of the portal “Public Services”. The article notes that digitalization is aimed at simplified interaction between the court and the lawyer, affects the professional interaction of the lawyer with the principal, where the new “competencies” and capabilities of the lawyer will allow you to track information about the progress of the case, get acquainted with judicial acts.
