Abstract
This article analyzes road traffic accidents among road users, which allowed us to establish the mechanism of the occurrence of an accident situation. A transport model of traffic flow regulation is presented, which allows determining the conditions under which the vehicle is in optimal conditions on the road, a model of the activity of a candidate driver during interaction in the traffic flow is developed. The presented functional model makes it possible to establish the levels of factors that influence the driver in the process of driving a vehicle and the conditions that ensure safe operating modes. The most common mistakes made by candidates for drivers when interacting in the traffic flow at the stage of practical training are determined.
