Abstract

This paper describes theoretical model of intellectual and creative potential development of junior students using extracurricular activities. The model contains four components. The first component comprises the main aim and tasks, values, pedagogical principles and approaches. The conceptual component presents the topical subject matter. The organizational component demonstrates the stages of intellectual and creative potential development, the conditions of successful functioning of the model, methods and forms of work. Finally, the reflexive and evaluative component shows the criteria, indices and possible levels of the intellectual and creative development.
