Abstract

The article is devoted to the transformation of migration flows from Central Asian countries, the associated difficulties and new opportunities. The recession in the Russian economy, following the pandemic and the events in Ukraine, forces countries that depend on it as a host country and accordingly on remittances from abroad to look for new sources of income to support their economies. At the moment, this process is still heterogeneous and complex, both for new receiving countries and for countries of origin, but countries lacking workers are ready to adapt their legislation to changing realities.
