Abstract
The purpose of this article is a comparative analysis of the evolution and dynamics of development of two integration unions – ASEAN and the EAEU. The article examines the similarities and differences between these international organizations as well as the political and economic reasons that influenced on the evolution of these associations. In addition the article provides a list of the most successful practices that can be considered as the main achievements of these regional blocks. According to the author, the presence of a large number of common features, problems and similar agendas between the EAEU and ASEAN makes a comparative analysis of these organizations relevant and appropriate.
