Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the serious leisure and quality of life factors of adult ballet amateurs in order to analyze the moderating effect of fun in the relationship between serious leisure and quality of life. The subjects of the study were sampled using the convenience sampling method. As a result of the questionnaire collection, a total of 308 copies of data were used for this survey analysis. Confirmatory factor analysis was conducted to verify the validity and reliability of the variables, and frequency analysis was conducted to examine the distribution of demographic variables. Interaction analysis was conducted through multiple regression analysis to find out the moderating effect of fun factors in the serious leisure and quality of life of adult ballet amateurs. The results of this study are as follows. First, in the relationship between serious leisure and quality of life, compensation factors and professional factors were found to have a significant effect on quality of life. Second, in the relationship between adult ballet amateurs' fun factors and quality of life, it was found that the sub-factors of fun factors had a significant effect on quality of life. Third, as a result of analyzing the moderating effect of fun factors in the relationship between serious leisure and quality of life, there was a significant moderating effect that buffered the negative (-) effect of serious leisure factors on quality of life.
