Abstract

The article is devoted to implicity of indirect utterances. Texts, in which implicity is present, are investigated. The object of the analysis is monologue and response utterances of dialogue texts. Inner contents of utterances are interpreted as request, explanation, promise, desire, suggestion, doubt, assumption and advice. It is possible to reveal more complete and exact information with the help of indirect speech acts containing implicity. Summing everything up the author shows that a result of implicit sense is caused by an effect of economy and thinking principle. The study of utterances with implicit implicative semantic will be important in description of subtext and problems of communicative aim of a sentence.
