Abstract

Currently, the fourth industrial revolution has a significant impact on educational activities, as a result of which many aspects of human life are digitalized, in this regard, there is a need for rapid and high-quality retraining of specialists in the field of electric power engineering. The article touches upon the urgent problem of reducing the level of fatalities at power facilities by introducing an additional educational program. The practical signifi-cance of the study lies in the improvement of additional educational program on electrical safety. The concept of “additional educational programs” (AEP) is disclosed. Particular attention is paid to the formation of neces-sary knowledge and skills of enterprise employees and future specialists in the field of electric power engineer-ing with the help of additional educational program. The article considers the efficiency of using the additional educational programs and reveals their potential for improving the quality of education. In conclusion, the arti-cle reveals the main principles of successful implementation of an additional educational program.
