Abstract

The paper shows the influence of a number of parameters and restrictions used in mathematical models for predicting the intensity of passenger traffic in urban agglomerations. Such parameters can be the characteristics of the systems of settlement and distribution of service places, the speed characteristics of the transport network. The article describes the results of experimental calculations of flow distribution parameters on the example of the St. Petersburg agglomeration. The necessity of practical calculations in the development of design solutions in the documentation of strategic, territorial and transport planning is proved subject to the specific features of the functioning of all social and transport systems of the city.
