Abstract

In the cycle of three articles, the Russian chamber romance transformation into a new concert genre - dithyramb - is considered. The author analyses prerequisites for transformation of dithyramb’s piano part: significance of piano part in ensemble compositions increases considerably, just as role of orchestra in opera scores. Role of outstanding pianists-composers, authors of chamber-vocal lyrical music, in formation of dithyramb’s performance criteria is determined. Prerequisites for appearance of a new profession - vocal concertmaster - are revealed.
