The article discusses precedent phenomena (in particular the so-called winged words) in connection with phraseological issues and presents several expressions of domestic precedent origin that are not registered in Bulgarian phraseological dictionaries. The author focuses on their phraseologization both in terms of meaning and usualization and considers the parallel functioning of these phraseological units and their precedent prototypes.
