Abstract

The significance of analyzing transformations in personnel management processes and employee requirements amid the emergence of the "Work 4.0" model is underscored by the article. The necessity of professions 4.0 is explored, and shifts in values, motivational guidelines of contemporary employees, and distinct characteristics of various personnel generations, particularly Generation Z, are delved into. The article is aimed at investigating the contemporary transformations in motivating organizational personnel within the framework of "Work 4.0". The features of the "Work 4.0" model are scrutinized, and distinctive traits of Generation Z representatives, along with their work behavior, aspirations, values, and motivational principles, are consolidated. The critical competencies for economically active individuals are acknowledged, with consideration given to the growing influence of Generation Z in the workforce. Factors linked to technological and organizational changes in the modern work environment, impacting the transformation of the social and labor sphere and motivating work under the paradigm of Work 4.0, are characterized. Among such factors, the following have been highlighted: the proliferation of digitization trends and growing demands for digital competence among employees, as well as the necessity to incentivize them towards continuous development and learning; an increasing prevalence of non-standard work schedules, the threat of overwork, stress, harm to employees' mental health, and the "work-life balance"; involving employees in beta projects to stimulate their creativity and innovation; integrating values of sustainable development, social responsibility, and collaboration to create a favorable social environment, engaging employees in social initiatives, and so forth.
