Abstract

Social sustainability and development of Russian international economic ties depends on many factors, with human resources taking the leading role. The ability to build solid long-term and mutually beneficial economic relations with foreign counterparts is considered to be one of the key competencies of a specialist in foreign economic activity. In this regard, the priorities of the Russian higher education system include the training of modern-day specialists with competencies in the field of entrepreneurship, international business communication, emotional intelligence, who are able to work with state-of-the-art technologies. This article is devoted to the study of how international contract negotiation software (AI chatbot) has been implemented in the educational process in Saint-Petersburg State University of Aerospace Instrumentation (SUAI). The article presents the key provisions on the specifics of training specialists in the sphere of international economic activity, then it proceeds to the structure of international negotiation process preceding the conclusion of an international sales contract and, finally, to the history of developing the artificial intelligence chatbot software that allows SUAI students to build the skills of negotiating international trade contracts with foreign partners in the English language.
