Abstract

The relevance of the research topic is due, first of all, to the implementation of an important strategic task - ensuring the stability of the economic development of the countries of the world in the face of uncertainty and the socio-economic consequences of the pandemic crisis. Under these conditions, it is necessary to study the features of the digital transformation process development in the agri-food sector and assess its impact on the food market. Ensuring global strategic stability is a paramount task for the modern development of many countries. The development of the global digital transformation of the Russian economy in the context of fierce hypercompetition involves the creation of new adaptive mechanisms for the interaction of economic entities and institutions, taking into account the current unstable epidemiological situation in the country and in the world within a single information space. Global instability caused by the uncertainty of economic development requires the development of constructive strategic solutions aimed at stabilization. The development of the digitalization process covers many types and areas of activity and requires additional support and attraction of foreign investment. The food market is one of the important elements of the food supply system for the population with basic foodstuffs. In the context of the development of the digital transformation process, it is necessary to study the influence of a number of factors on the development of the food market. In particular, the state of the market situation, the level of effective demand of the population for the development of the food market in the regions of the Far Eastern District. The development of the digital transformation process has an inadequate impact on the development of the food supply system. This is due not only to the introduction of modern innovative technologies, the creation of new digital ecosystems. Digitalization involves minimizing human participation in the implementation of economic processes based on the use of modern digital technologies is quite remote. In a pandemic crisis, the digital transformation process development becomes a necessary condition for the functioning of business structures in the agri-food sector.
