Abstract

In the article, the authors propose a minimum of colloquial set expressions, which should be mastered by foreign students, as well as exercises recommended for the practice of teaching Russian as a foreign language at the initial stage. Set expressions of Russian colloquial speech are considered to be complex material for foreign students and teachers of the Russian language as a foreign language. Incorrect perception and use of set expressions by students can cause communicatively significant errors and communicative failures in a real situation. The exercises proposed in this work are aimed at acquiring and activating set expressions of colloquial speech, contribute to the formation of ideas about the Russian spoken language system among foreign students, and the development of their skills in using set expressions in various situations.
