Особенности семантизации диалектных лексических единиц (на материале «Словаря русских говоров Приамурья»)

Abstract

The study aims to identify the most effective ways of semantisation of dialect lexical units (using the “Dictionary of Russian Subdialects of the Amur River Region”). The paper defines semantisation and considers the issues of determining the ways of interpreting lexical units based on the views of well-known linguists. The researcher analysed words and phrases in their relation to the ways of dialect vocabulary interpretation involving lexicographic sources. The paper is novel in that it is the first to identify four ways of lexicographic description (using the “Dictionary of Russian Subdialects of the Amur River Region”) in the process of analysing the ways of word semantisation in a dialect dictionary of a differential type. As a result, the two most effective ways of interpreting lexical units have been determined. In addition, a comprehensive description of the definitive-descriptive and referential ways of word interpretation in a dialect dictionary has been given.
