Abstract
The article covers the content of key elements of the criminalistic characteristics of organization of illegal migration and the meaning of such elements for the investigation (Art. 322.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). The author arrives at a justified conclusion that knowledge of special aspects of such elements gives a criminal case investigator an opportunity to evaluate correctly the investigative situation at hand, develop and implement an algorithm of investigative and other procedural actions aimed at collection and recording of evidence of the committed crime.
